Get the Right Massage for You:

Choosing the Perfect Duration and Style

When booking a massage, selecting the right duration and style is crucial to achieve the best results and benefits tailored to your needs. Here’s a guide to help you make an informed decision and ensure your massage experience is as effective and relaxing as possible.

Understanding Massage Timings

The duration of your massage plays a significant role in what can be achieved during your session. Whether you’re seeking relief from specific pain, improved mobility, or simply a moment of relaxation, the right time slot matters:

60-Minute Massage

A one-hour massage is ideal for targeting specific areas of the body, such as the back or legs. This duration is best suited for:

  • Focused Treatments: If you’re experiencing pain or mobility issues in a particular area, a 60-minute sports massage provides enough time for deep, concentrated work on problem zones.
  • Relaxation for Beginners: If you’re new to massage and primarily looking for a soothing, relaxing experience without addressing deeper issues, a one-hour session is typically sufficient.

Important Note: A 60-minute massage is not suitable for an all-over body massage due to time constraints.

90-Minute Massage

If your goal is to experience the full-body benefits of a general massage, a 90-minute session is highly recommended. This extended duration allows for:

  • Unhurried, Comprehensive Coverage: A complete full-body massage that addresses all areas, including any specific problem zones.
  • Maximum Relaxation and Results: With more time, the massage can be conducted at a steady, relaxing pace, ensuring every part of your body gets the attention it deserves.

Your Needs Matter

When booking, always mention any pain, mobility issues, or specific goals for your massage. This allows me to recommend the best option and customize the session to meet your needs effectively.

First-Time Clients: What to Expect

If this is your first massage with me, your session will include a detailed medical consultation. We’ll discuss:

  • Your current medications and medical conditions.
  • Relevant medical history.
  • Postural Analysis

This thorough assessment ensures your safety and allows me to provide the most appropriate and beneficial treatment. As a fully qualified NHS clinical practitioner skilled in medical assessment, I prioritize safe and effective care.
